💔SADNEWS:20 Minutes ago in Washington,Voters “Fed Up”: New Poll Shows…😞

A comprehensive new NBC News national poll suggests a volatile shift in the American political landscape as the 2026 midterm elections draw near. The findings reveal that a substantial majority of registered voters are increasingly disillusioned with President Trump’s administration, citing failures across a spectrum of issues from the domestic economy to international military engagements. This growing dissatisfaction suggests an electorate that is fundamentally “fed up” with the status quo and actively seeking a major change in leadership.

Economic anxiety continues to be the most significant hurdle for the current administration. Inflation and the soaring cost of living are identified as primary grievances, with 62% of voters disapproving of the President’s economic handling. Nearly half of the respondents, 48%, believe his specific policies have been detrimental to the U.S. economy. Furthermore, the administration’s reliance on tariffs is meeting stiff resistance; 55% of voters claim these trade barriers have done more harm than good. With only 35% of the public feeling any personal financial benefit, GOP candidates are entering the “red zone” ahead of the November vote. The poll also highlights deep national divisions regarding security and foreign intervention. As the Iran conflict continues, a majority of voters have turned against U.S. strikes, signaling a weary public resistant to prolonged warfare. On the home front, immigration remains a polarizing topic. While 53% of voters approve of border security measures, 54% disapprove of broader enforcement strategies. Public trust in ICE is declining, yet 43% also view sanctuary cities unfavorably, leaving neither party with a clear advantage on the issue. Ultimately, the Democratic Party appears to be the beneficiary of this widespread discontent, currently holding a 6-point lead (50% to 44%) on the generic ballot for control of Congress. Voters are increasingly prioritizing voting laws, with 51% focused on preventing ineligible voting while 47% seek expanded access. This combination of economic pain and a desire for institutional change positions the Republican Party for a difficult defensive battle in the upcoming midterms.
