A devastating aviation accident in Wyoming has claimed the lives of seven individuals, including prominent members of the award-winning gospel group The Nelons. Among the victims were Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, pilot Larry Haynie and his wife Melissa, as well as family assistant Melanie Hodges and her relatives Amber and Nathan Kistler. The group was en route to the Gaither Homecoming Cruise in Alaska when their private twin-engine aircraft reportedly experienced mechanical failure, crashing into a remote field and bursting into flames.

Autumn Nelon Streetman, the sole surviving member of the immediate family who was not on the flight, shared an emotional statement describing her grief as “indescribable.” Despite the swift arrival of emergency personnel, the intensity of the fire left no survivors at the scene. This loss marks a heartbreaking end for the members of The Nelons, who were celebrated for their decades of ministry and significant contributions to Christian music.
