🚨20 minutes ago,Washington D.C Trump’s DC Crime Crackdown Already Produces Big Results…

The White House takeover of the Washington, D.C. police force has completed its first full week of federal oversight, yielding a multi-faceted and complex data profile.

According to a detailed CNN analysis of Metropolitan Police Department statistics, the district saw property crime fall by 19 percent while violent crime decreased by 17 percent during the week of August 12. Most notably, robberies and car break-ins plummeted by over 40 percent, suggesting that the heightened federal presence had an immediate impact on specific street-level offenses. However, the shift in control has not resulted in a uniform decline across all criminal categories. During the same period, burglary cases rose by 6 percent, and assaults with a dangerous weapon increased by 14 percent, highlighting persistent challenges in curbing high-stakes violence. Beyond traditional metrics, the deployment of federal agents and National Guard troops has triggered a massive spike in immigration enforcement. Since August 7, approximately 300 individuals without legal status have been arrested in the district—a staggering tenfold increase over the historical average of just 12 arrests per week. Data from the Deportation Data Project at UC Berkeley indicates that ICE agents are now routinely accompanying local officers, intervening during routine stops to verify immigration status. While federal agencies continue to patrol the city in unmarked vehicles and assist in warrant executions, the policy shift remains a point of intense debate. White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson defended the strategy, dismissing media skepticism and praising the “exceptional results” of Trump’s efforts to stabilize the nation’s capital through direct federal intervention.
